TRANSFER WEEK AT KENTUCKY WESLEYAN COLLEGE

    JUNE 1 - 5, 2026

Rethinking where you'll finish your degree? For one week, our admissions counselors, financial aid team, registrar, faculty, and coaches are blocking off time to sit down with you. Come to campus or meet with us online.

Bring your transcript. We'll go through your credits, talk scholarships, and show you what graduating from KWC actually looks like for you. Most students walk out with an admission decision and an aid estimate that same day.

Questions? Email admissions@kwc.edu or call 270-852-3120.

    What to expect

Every Transfer Week appointment is built around your situation. Here's what's included:

Credit evaluation. Send your transcript ahead of time and our registrar will have a review ready when you arrive. You'll know what transfers, what doesn't, and how close you are to graduation.

Financial aid conversation. Bring your most recent award letter. Our financial aid team will show you what your aid package at KWC looks like and walk you through scholarship options.

Time with the people you'll actually work with. Tell us your major in the registration form and we'll line up a faculty member from that department. Tell us your sport and we'll see if the coach is free. Parents, partners, family — bring whoever you want.

A real campus tour. If you're here in person, a current KWC student will show you around and answer the questions a brochure can't.

    On campus or online

On-Campus Visits run Monday through Friday, June 1–5 at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM. Plan on about 2 hours.

Virtual Visits cover the same ground over Zoom in about 60 minutes. Pick this if getting to Owensboro isn't realistic this week. Visits are available as early as 9:00 AM and late as 3:00 PM

    All times Central.

    Before your visit

A few things that make your appointment more useful:

    1. Get your transcript to us. Request it from your current school and have it sent to admissions@kwc.edu, or upload it when you register. Unofficial copies work fine for the credit evaluation.
    2. Bring your most recent financial aid award letter if you have one.
    3. Tell us your major and whether you play a sport when you register, so we can pull in the right faculty member or coach.

No transcript yet? Come anyway. We'll start the conversation and circle back once we have your records.

    Common questions

Will my credits transfer? We honor transferable credits from accredited institutions. Most transfer students lose few or none. You'll get a preliminary evaluation during your visit, so you'll know where you stand before you decide anything.

What about my scholarship? KWC offers strong transfer scholarships, and for Oakland City University students enrolling for Fall 2026, we'll match your OCU institutional aid up to $25,000. Bring your award letter and we'll show you the numbers.

Can I get an admission decision during my visit? Often yes. If your transcript and application are on file, our admissions team can usually issue a decision the same day.

Can I still play my sport? Coaches will meet with prospective student-athletes by appointment. Tell us your sport when you register. Roster space and scholarship availability vary.

Is housing available for fall? Yes. On-campus housing is open for incoming transfers for Fall 2026.

Can I bring family? Please do. Parents, partners, and family are welcome at every meeting, on campus or online.

    Can't make it June 1–5?

We're still here. Schedule any other week this summer through www.kwc.edu/visit or contact the Office of Admissions directly at admissions@kwc.edu or 270-852-3120.
